![]() I've tried to frame this in positive language - I hope you can hear my optimism. (don't need buttons for snapshots/recordings/attachments - I drag content into the window)Ī solution for the issues mentioned by JMichael re making default-formatted notes around formatted web clipsĬolumn selection mode: hold Alt whilst dragging.I'd love to be able to hide the formatting bar, because I use kb shortcuts (I prefer my BG colour to be other than white, and I'd love a more consistent solution than the mac Fonts panel.WYSIWYMean CSS styles (ala Wordpress: Heading 1, Heading 2, Blockquote, etc) with a user CSS file I could edit (Many users would share their styles!) shift-enter for unbulleted newline / within list.the EN tables are no substitute (can't resize the cells, hide the border, add new rows with kb, etc)įeatures available even in this forum's text-area:.(I can imagine how an approximation of this could be marked up in ENML using span tags).enter a date, price, or key-combo then tab-tab, enter my note and would end up with a beautifully formatted key>value style list.real tab-stops (tab only enters five spaces).I hope that EN will grow to accommodate some of my wish list! ![]() I've migrated from Journler, and I miss its serious / stable formatting the most. the more you report, the more data they have to work with, and hopefully we will be able to squish all of the remaining bugs i try to send in examples of these to the evernote staff whenever i can (some of the information in notes is not something i can share, so i have not been able to report as much as i'd like). most of the time i don't even notice, but there are still occasional oddities. i wish i could explain why, but i have a feeling there are several things going on in each case, otherwise it would have been fixed by now. text will jump lines, and line breaks appear where there ought to be none. The problem in evernote is that it will strip out all formatting, and sometimes you still get some bizarre behavior. i don't know exactly what behavior you are experiencing, but as a general rule of thumb, i recommend using formatmatch (an osx app) to cut and paste things without any formatting. But at least to be able to set them all to the same. OK, what I really would like it to be able to select a range or entire page, then set all to Standard, or add a selectable space before or after separately. I find some paragraphs have set extra space after the paragraph, and some don't. I do a lot of either copy/paste, or email in, other documents from sources both Mac and Windows. I want an easy way to change or at least remove, the line spacing settings in a page. Forgive me if this was said, I have spent a couple hours reading and searching, which is my patience limit.
